Life is what you make of it. It is about hard work. 

Moving to Canada Mathew J Marshall decided to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor. Having lived through adversity in apartheid South Africa, he comments, “I never really thought that I would call Canada my home. Canada’s embrace of diversity and freedom of expression makes it the ideal place to pursue a career in the arts.”

Mathew experienced an early introduction to the entertainment industry, but it was following his role in two short features in South Africa that Mathew realized his passion. “I find acting visceral; it’s very natural and real,” he says, “a wonderful challenge, portraying different personas unapologetically. My search in this craft continues and the possibilities are limitless.”
